I completely understand the hesitation to have another baby after HELLP, and the breath-holding that goes along with begging your child to please stay inside as long as she can. And thank you even more for giving me solid ideas for a birth plan. After not being able to even touch my preemie until 3 hours after she was born (days longer until I could hold her), I definitely need to put in writing that I WILL hold my bloody, squirmy newborn the second he or she gets pulled out. Make no mistake about that.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11571403013373804683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500155052856999551.post-80185760376686631032011-02-09T09:34:01.421-06:002011-02-09T09:34:01.421-06:00newmommy and Marie, thank-you for your posts! Beautiful story. I am hoping for a natural VBAC too. My first was delivered via c-section after being induced for pre-eclampsia. Your story is very inspirational to me! I am in the process of switching doctors at 24 weeks and will be delivering with a midwife.

I loved how you felt called by God to have another child - we practice NFP so for us it is a monthly decision whether we feel it is time for our family to be open to a new life. We waited until there would be a two year separation between the births to increase the chances of a VBAC and the possibility of having more children later.

Congratulations on your VBAC and your baby girl, and thank you for your beautiful birth story!Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12345689954092353737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500155052856999551.post-27123707893417388072011-02-09T05:50:39.826-06:002011-02-09T05:50:39.826-06:00Wow, I have been contemplating a VBAC I am 27 week...Wow, I have been contemplating a VBAC I am 27 weeks pregnant. Just last night I was discussing if I should or shouldn't with my husband. This post was certainly a sign to go forward with it. Not to mention your daughter was born on my birthday. God has a way of speaking to you doesn't he. He sure spoke to me through your post. Thank you.SarahGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02707749126398355819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500155052856999551.post-83525673872590981522010-12-22T10:36:51.165-06:002010-12-22T10:36:51.165-06:00Those early hormones are no fun to deal with!
